3D Space Mouse - Worth it or Not?

This is one reason I haven’t taken to it. I use SketchUp on a number of different computers. some are not my own.

I have the SM Enterprise in the office as well as the wireless. It is definitely a very useful tool. I use in other programs as well, BlueBeam, GoogleEarth, Autocad and Microstation (once you get the settings correct otherwise your model will spin off into the abyss). Obviously for 2D drawings you can only pan and zoom but it is still very useful. for PDFs its the same but you can manipulate a 3D PDF as you would in SU.

My primary software is BlueBeam. I am marking up 2d drawings for what seems like all day. Besides pan and zoom what other uses have you found for the SM in BlueBeam?

Kind of late to this thread, but I did a full review of the 3D mouse on my website 3D Mouse Review - MasterSketchUp.com

My Opinion: Its worth every cent.
I use the “SpaceMouse Compact”. I don’t think the 3d Space Mouse speeds up my workflow (architecture) very much, but using it makes a lot of fun.
