I just upgraded to 2018 expecting I’d get higher resolution on geolocate. I didn’t. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I have clients who expect a professional job.

You didn’t lose anything that you had with SU2017 Pro by updating to SU2018 Pro.
At this stage it appears to be the only game in town. I didn’t suggest it because it will require you to spend more money. I suggested it because it offers what you asked for. And it offers better resolution than you ever had with Google Maps.
