I’m a new designer with a background in computer networking and VOIP database management. My family and I moved out of the city in 2014 and to a wonderful small country town in central/west Texas. With my background, I was unable to find a job in the industry I was familiar with and started working construction for Wilks Earthworks. After 3 years in the field and learning a great deal in the industry, I was offered a job putting my skill to the test. I was onboarded to start a full-time design drafting position with open boundaries and started off day one with Sketchup. Sketchup has been the main foundation of my pipeline for two years now. We also use Twinmotions, Lumion, Unreal Engine, vRay, and many other programs in the middle like Quixel and a full array of Trimble hardware and software.
I love what I do and think we have a great business model to lead the way into the future of the AEC industry.
