I am a retired engineer who has used AutoCad since 1984.
I developed a professional application for AutoCad and sold the rights for the program in 2011 when I retired. The new owner has further developed the program and it is still in use by Norwegian municipal engineers and municipalities.
Then it happened that I was going to help my daughter with a house drawing when I came across Skechup and started testing this first in the free version and now in Skethup Pro.
This is a fantastic program and far better than AutoCad. Moreover, it was easy to acquire the basic features. But there are many questions that arise during the work. I think this forum will be a great use to me.
