(2021) I’m an engineer, a designer and a tinker. I have retired from working in the Corporate rat-race, enjoying a good family life with a working wife and three children in College(19, 21, & 22). Life is Good being semi-retired; I run the household, play in the workshop/garage, keep company with our dog and cat, and I enjoy problem solving, especially if it involves engineering!

My life long interests have always been technical; working with wood, old cars, trucks and electronics (it was my vocation for 32 years; freshly minted SMU BSEE that started a career in '78 at E-Systems in Garland, TX which later was gobbled up by Raytheon in '96). Don’t miss it, well the co-workers and friends…Yes, but the job, Nope!

Since retiring I now dabble in many interests; woodworking, wood turning, Machinist (self-taught amateur), restoring old vintage machinery, bargain-hunting at estate sales, and occasionally metal detecting, which is a lot like fishing in the dirt, but for old coins and jewelry.
