Professional Energy Engineer / Avid Modeler

I currently work for an international group as an energy engineer for performance contracts. Simply put: when municipalities and gov. entities want to save money via saving energy, I'll run calcs to show them how the savings can pay for the project.

I have always loved modeling in CAD software. I am fluent in "vanilla" AuotCAD, but am now using SketchUp. I like to model things I find around the house and objects that I would like to build myself, but honestly I'm not picky. Visualizing how I'm going to create an object, in an efficient and effective way, is a way for me to increase focus and calm the nerves. Its a hobby that will eventually be a profession...once the world is energy efficient.
