I have a BArch from Univ of Tenn, 1984. After many years of working in the Washington DC area (mostly high end residential)- I find I need the computer skills to re-enter the architectural design field. I drew full sets of working drawings by hand - until the last hand drafting office left on earth - switched over to Revit.
I am not very technically / computer inclined and am (for now) trying to learn some of the softwares such that I might be re-employed.
I am starting w SketchUp, next is either AutCad or Revit.
I am teaching myself w YouTube tutorials, Lynda.com and tips from this Forum site.
Likely, I may ask some sophomoric questions....
