Since 1996 I've been a communication tower inspector and much of what I do includes field measuring tower parts and drawing them to include in reports to engineering firms. I have no formal training in drafting and for the previous 17 years I'd been using Visio to create 2D diagrams. In February 2017 I became proficient enough in SU to start including basic 3D drawings in my report packages. Woohoo!
