Residential Architect licensed in the States of WA and OR, USA. I have been using SketchUp since 2001. Starting in 2013 I have used SketchUp for both 3D and Layout working drawing sets. It has been an interesting learning process, and I enjoy the 3D process of designing. It is so much faster to visualize (for me and my clients) how the building all fits together. I will often show each rafter of stick framed roofs to help the builder.
