Just recently I’ve gotten back into using SU. Last use was SU8 so there are many changes that I need to learn…or relearn. My use for SU19 is custom residential design starting from the very basic to the final construction documents. Previously had a design business but due to health issues it had to be shut down. I am a ‘Certified Master Builder’ and have many years of job site experience working in the trades but for the most part it is in the framing trade. Also I am an Urban Planner by education but have not been able to apply that aspect of my background too much. In addition to being a SU user I’m also a self taught artist in multimedia materials from pen and ink, graphic marker and watercolors. FYI, my reason for being out of the business was due to my health setbacks which is mainly due to MS (*multiple sclerosis). I only say that because now I struggle with some very simple things and excel in other odd areas of my daily life. Enough said, I’m here to ask some seemingly very simple questions about SU and hope to receive some answers that allow me to plow thru to get a decent drawing together.
