I use ver. 8 Pro. I just started a couple of days ago. I don't know how long I've had it. I'm an app junkie. If I see something free, I tend to down load it, even if I don't use it right a way.

I'm in the process of building a 12x16 gambrel roof shed that I intend to use for woodworking projects. I thought this older version of Sketch Up would be plenty for what I need.

I'm a US Navy veteran. I was stationed on a fast attack submarine through new construction and at sea deployment. Most of my career was in the commercial nuclear industry as an operator and operations manager. The latter part of my career was in the medical industry as a field service technician and service manager.

I have a dual boot (Point Linux/ Win 7 Ultimate) desktop that I built which I use for most things, but I run Sketch Up on my MS Surface Pro 2.

I have three grown (?) children, girl and two boys, and four grandchildren, three boys and one girl.
