What is the ultimate RIG one can use to run Sketchup?

I would say it’s no different, looking at the specs there is only 1mm difference between L/W/H and 30g heavier (for the wireless).

I have, for the past year lost my wireless receiver so have been using a cable, I only just got a replacement from Amazon for £15 last week!

So I think I could fairly say I have been using the compact (in essence)!

I prefer the wireless only because I have a lot on my desk and already have too many cables. Anything I can cut down on is worth it. At the moment I have temporarily moved my PC to the dining room for a few days while I make a better desk situation in my regular computer room but this gives an idea of my ridiculous amount of cables (not including my laptop even).

Ed: I only use my Spacemouse on my Mac because the drivers interfere with the flight simulator joysticks on my PC, priorities etc…

Ok, um yes that IS a lot of cables. Dinner times look fun. Does the space mouse work natively on the Mac in SU?

I assume so, regardless you need to install the drivers and 3D connexion home on both Mac and PC if that’s what you mean, but it is fully supported on both OS’s

The only problem with wireless is if you are working late and forget to turn it off, then have to charge it the next day…

Yep thanks, that’s what I meant. It says a month b4 recharge but you need to phys turn it off for that? My MX2 master lasts flipping ages.

Oh yeah, when I mean ‘on overnight’ I mean on ‘every night’, it’s quite easy with so many things blinking to forget about what is on or off! I’ve never seen one in the wild but if you can have a go at a trade show or a re-seller then that could be a good idea? Some of the others may know if thats possible, also will depend on where you are. I am sure there will be some at SketchUp basecamp if you are attending that.

Just the other day I had to replace one of my SanDisk Ultra II 480 GB game-storage SSDs, so getting my favorite games reloaded is taking a lot of my time. (SDSSDHII-480G)

I may have a quarter of the number of games you do, I just sat here mouth open at how many you actually have loaded…yikes!

BTW…this is my second 480 GB SanDisk to fail within the warranty period so I won’t be getting any more of those boat anchors. I’m sticking with newer Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB. They’re fast and reliable with no stalls.

. I’ve been playing a lot of Titanfall 2, so I may be a little scarce on STEAM-ing Pile.

That’s a staggering amount of games! Have another look at Factorio as 0.2 hours isn’t enough. I’d be amazing at SketchUp if I spent as many hours on it as I do on Factorio.
