If you also have a running copy of Datacad, you could just export them as dxf. That’s probably the cleanest import route into SU you’re likely to find, unless, of course, the SU development team goes with your suggestion and develops a new dc5 import filter. I think you’re more likely to get hit by a comet, but I suppose it could happen.
