Try to take notice of what the filename is in the Export dialog.
I do not know why but sometimes the underscores get changed to dashes.
This causes the extension to be testing for the incorrect filename.
I am still on Win 10.

Okay, after thinking a bit, and remembering that I has also gotten the dialog twice for the first “Front” view, …
I make a few tweaks to hopefully make sure that the dialog was only being opened once per camera view.
Version 1.1.1
- 2024-02-18 (Dan Rathbun)
Increase the dialog DELAY
constant to 1.5 seconds.
export_dxf_view()
: Use true
for 2nd UI.start_timer
argument and then
cancel the timer on the first call into the block.
onViewChanged()
: Detach the observer before calling the method to
open the export dialog. We are trying to avoid double calls into
the export_dxf_view()
method for the same camera view export.

I have only tested with a local model file and writing to local physical disk drives.
Network storage has been known to have latency that causes issues with SketchUp.
Morning Dan, thanks for the update!
Aha! I think that must have been the issue as we work off a shared NAS drive. Running the plugin locally seemed to do the trick! Thanks so much for all your help with this. Really appreciate it
