How can I force Sketchup Make to load?

Hi There.
I have just installed Sketchup 2017 on my Mac running Sierra. I am never going to buy Pro, so is there a way I can just use Make, without the 30 day free trial of Pro?

If you had searched the forum with a less forceful wording you would have found this thread.
It was written for 2015 but the the win version is still accurate so I imagine Mac should be too.

How to Skip Pro trial mode in SketchUp Make

@anssi Windows Close SketchUp if it’s opened. Open a new Windows Explorer window. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015 Right-click on the SketchUp.lic license file and select Open. Click the button for “Select a program from a list of installed programs” and then click OK. Select Notepad then click OK. Add the text ##NoTrial to the top line in the license file.
