My day job is helping people get the right mortgage loan for their priorities and situation (long way of saying that I am a Mortgage Lona Officer)
Got seriously into woodworking in the mid nineties. Did a part time apprenticeship with a talented furniture make who has since passed away. When the kids were little, I shelved the woodworking for about 10 years until we remodeled the house in 2005. Thenk, instead of adding on with a crawl space, we dug an addition to the basement which gave me space for a wood shop. I was able to dig the basement, buy the equipment and build my wifes kitchen for less than she would have paid to have custom cabinets built.
I have been making furniture off and on ever since and have started teaching friends who are begining woodworkers to build items for themselves in my shop with my guidance.
