I am a USN retired veteran of 21 years. I retired as a Chief Radioman Submarines. My next endeavor was as a police officer where I attained the rank of Captain, assigned as the Uniformed Division Patrol Commander. I started this job less than 30 days out of the Navy and was to be temporary until something better came along. 24 years later, retirement was the "better" thing. I am woodworker with intermediate skills. I have been dabbling in SketchUp for a number of years and still haven't got all the "in's and out's" of it. I can do basic drawings and that's about it.
