Working in sketch my TOP view all of a sudden turned to a SIDE orientation. How can I fix this
Check to see that the axis alignment is correct. Right click on an axis line. If Reset is black, click on it. The Standard Views are based on the axis orientation at the time you select the view.
I am 99.876% certain that this did not happen by itself but that you either selected a side view or orbited to it using the middle mouse (scrollwheel) button.
To get back into top view, select it either from the Camera>Standard views menu, or click on the Top view button in the Views toolbar.
