Why when i use the union tool to merge the roof and the walls, it make dissapear the top of the walls?

That looks totally correct to me… if you join the top of the walls with the bottom of the ceiling, it should remove the material between the two…

I’m new in sketch up and i thought it was odd!
I was watching a tutorial and i follow all the steps, in the video the top of the wall remained! I dont how it happened hahah

Sounds like an error in the video! What you have there looks like it is correct!
