I’m in Layout. Have imported a jpeg image. Tried to send it to the back using ‘Arrange’ and ‘Send to Back’ it won’t cooperate and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Probably trying to put it behind something on a lower layer in the document. Send to Back only works to order entities on the same layer. If the thing you want the image to be behind is on a different layer you need to change the layer order.
You can change the order of the layers in the Layers list by dragging them up or down. You might also need to create new layers. You can also move entities to different layers.
If you are still having trouble, upload the LayOut file so we can see what you’ve set up.
I was playing around the layers and put it ‘On every page’ and it worked. Is that a correct fix as well?
It is if you want the image to show up on every page in your LO document. If you don’t want it to show up on every page create a new layer under the layer that contains the other stuff and move the image to that layer.
