White knockout under lines

For improved readability on drawings, i’ve started pasting a white, thicker copy of dimension and leader lines under the originals to knock out the drawing below. I’ve made a doubled leader line in my scrapbook which can be pulled to size and shape, but too much deformation means the white bottom line needs redrawing.

it would be handy to have a way to tell the computer to draw two lines at the same time, one on top of the other.

or perhaps a way to halo a line.

ive included some pics illustrating the use case

I find myself doing this sometimes. Your examples are line drawings, but I’ve resorted to it with linework on top of textured/rendered surfaces below, especially colored lines. (This example is imported into and completed in PowerCADD, by the way, but same concept.)
