Where is the shared object file in an OS X build?

#1

I downloaded “ruby-c-extension-examples-master” and loaded it into Xcode. It built correctly. I see the “Debug (#.#)” set of folders for 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2. Inside the folders is a file named “SUEX_HelloWorld.bundle”.

Where is the shared object type file? (extension .so)

Is there no “Release (#.#)” type folders similar to what the Visual Studio build has?

A bundle is a shared object library in the OSX world, and can be loaded by Ruby’s global require method.
