Hello,
I’ve been trying to find the original patterns that come with LayOut with no success. I’ve looked into Application/SketchUp2016/LayOut/Contents/Resources… but It is empty. The reason I’m trying to find them is because I want to create new ones based on the existing ones.

On a PC it’s in:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\LayOut\PatternFills
and 4 sub/subfolders of PNG files…
There are also …/templates subfolders etc in that folder.
Your own …/customizationtemplates and …/scapbooks can be found in:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\LayOut
On a MAC…
/Applications/SketchUp 2016/Layout.app
Select icon > context-menu > choose ‘Show Package Content’
Scroll the list and find folder PatternFills >>> 4 sub/subfolders of the PNG files
