If I use Add Location and then Show Terrain and then export the resulting 3D mesh, what projection and datum is being used, is it the same as Google Earth, ie EPSG:4326 ?

Both GE and Su use the same datum which is WGS 84 / NAD 83. A projection is derived by projecting the Earth oblate spheroid on to a flat plane. My searches have not turned up info stating what is used for the projection but my guess is State Plane for CONOUS and UTM for rest.
There are several SU plugins that will convert the xy su values to lat/ long.

Is this still true? I can’t find any mention of it in the documentation. Could anyone point me towards it?
