Quick share for anyone using SketchUp for interior design:

We got tired of wasting time modeling furniture or hunting for approximate models… so we built a small plugin that lets you import IKEA products directly into SketchUp using their existing 3D files (GLB format).

Basically:

  • browse IKEA

  • click import

  • the model drops into your scene at the right scale

Super handy for quick layouts, client presentations, or realistic mockups without spending hours modeling.

This works great! Thank you.
No problems installing it … no problems running it.

(I am running SketchUp 2026 under Windows 11.)

Downloaded this IKEA desk as a test

And then Enscape rendered the imported IKEA desk w/o any problems.
