Visualizer - How to Install for SketchUp 2016

probably difficult to live from such a cheapy:

Thanks, sketch3d_de, thatā€™s great, especially for the price

But if anyone know a renderer more like Vizualiser (keeping a live fast render window open above the model workspace) that would be ideal.

Thanks

easy but not for free: AmbientOcclusion or Render[in]

Thanks sketch3d_de, Iā€™ve got proper rendering software elsewhere so really just needed a free live render window, though $89 is very reasonable for basic renders.

btw: I noticed Twilight 2 Render you linked to (https://www.twilightrender.com/)
was incredibly slow to render, and my machineā€™s not that slow, so I guess itā€™s probably a settings/version number thing (I was using Easy 9 preset).

Iā€™m going to try getting Vizualiser for Mac OS SketchUp Pro 2017 working somehow, again.

in a commercial surrounding shelling out some bucks (see above) is often more productive then fiddling around for hoursā€¦ additionally getting a software maintained further (e.g. for SU v2018 end of this year).

itā€™s not going to happen without a large investment of time and moneyā€¦

due to the changes in Ruby versions, Visualizer needs to be completely recompiled from ā€˜sourceā€™ā€¦

I keep a copy of SU v16 with Visualizer for occasional useā€¦

Thatā€™s good info john, thanks. Iā€™d considered having a go at the ruby myself but now Iā€™ll just look for another option.
