Hoping you can help with a rendering issue I’m experiencing on SketchUp 2026.
Setup:
- MacBook Pro M4 Pro
- SketchUp 2026
- New graphics engine (Fast Feedback off)
Symptom:
When I activate any tool — specifically tested with the Rectangle tool and Tape Measure — the viewport blacks out entirely, leaving only a small square visible around the cursor. It also triggers intermittently when moving the cursor from a floating tray (e.g. Styles) back into the main viewport.
What I’ve already tried:
- Toggled Fast Feedback off - no change
- Confirmed I’m on the new graphics engine - I want to stay on it as I had ambient occlusion and environment lighting working in 2025
What I have not done:
- Switched to Classic Graphics Engine
Has anyone seen this, and is there a known fix that keeps the new graphics engine intact?
