After sending images from Sketchup to Layout, I notice that sometimes when i change the Line Scale to Vector, the image or Viewport extends the scale greatly, but with some images, the scale remains the same and does not move. Why does it extend on some images and others not?
This doesn’t make any sense. Line Scale only affects the weight or thickness of lines in the viewport. Setting the viewport to render as Vector will render the lines as vector instead of the defaul Raster but will not change the size of the model in the viewport.
Changing the Scale setting in the Camera section of the SketchUp Model window will change the size of the model on the page and depending on the size of the viewport, the size of the model, and the selected scale, it’s entirely possible for the model to extend beyond the edges of the viewport. Just drag the edges of the viewport to show what you need in the viewport.
Sorry i meant Viewport not Line Scale. When i change it to Vector, it automatically changes the size of the model on certain images and others it does not.
You need to share an example file. There should be no change in model size between raster and vector rendering. The lines might appear narrower but the model shouldn’t change.
