Using SHOP: repeatedly dropped from the site while drawing, for no reason

While using Sketchup Shop online the site keeps dropping me, so that I have to reopen the page to keep drawing.

There must be some reason. There’s always a reason. What browser are you using? Are your graphics drivers up to date? You might go to the Intel site and check.

I’m using chrome. Am I better off using Microsoft Edge?

Chrome is a better choice than Microsoft Edge. You might want to make sure that you aren’t unexpectedly hitting your browser’s 'Back" button- some mice map this to a gesture or extra button.

There were some recent fixes in sketchup.com so that IE and Edge would work better. But not with the app page. Anything that goes wrong in IE or Edge, or Chrome, should be fixable.
