I managed to do this last night, but I was drunk when I did it, and now I can’t remember for the life of me how I did it. I used whorl extension to get a tapered screw.
I’m trying to create a cam catch. I have a cover in my van and want to create an access panel.

In the end, I made the thread length the same as the radius, then intersected and cleaned up the mess. I think I now know why I was drunk after finishing it, joining up the geometry by hand aha.
