Use a Sketchup Pro 2016 file with Sketchup Make 2016

Can I use a Sketchup Pro 2016 file with a Sketchup Make 2016 application?
It does not seem to work for some reason.
Grateful for suggestions…

There is no difference in files for Pro and Make if the same year. Are these on the same computer? If not it could be a problem with the computer. If you can share the file here people will look and see if they find anything strange in it.

I would like it to work with Sketchup Make 2016.

As far as I can tell, the file you posted is v2018. I had no trouble opening it it in SU2018, and have saved it back as v2016, which I also had no trouble opening in SU 2016 Make. I deleted one stray edge I saw.

@john_mcclenahan is right - that was a SketchUp 2018 file not 2016. The ultimate proof is that the file begins with the string

໿SketchUp Model೿{18.0.16976}

so the file was last saved using SketchUp version 18.0.16976 not any variant of SketchUp 2016. Which begs the question, why did you think it was 2016 Pro?
