I’ve noticed a bug in SketchUp 2026: uniform scaling doesn’t work properly.
If you try to scale uniformly along the Y axis and then enter a value, SketchUp uses that value as a reference for the X axis instead of the Y axis.
The same thing happens with the Z axis. This feature used to work perfect in previous versions.

Yep, I just tried, on mac, same thing. only the red / x gets the value, no matter if you dimension through y or z.
I did it with a group, same problem, then rotated the group off-axis, same problem (since it’s using the groups internal axis)
good catch, could be very annoying.

I’m also running into this. SketchUp team, please fix this very annoying bug!!
We do have a bug report about this, SKOR-21079 in our system. I’m trying to get someone to work on the problem.
