I am a teacher using sketchup for schools to have students create models of floorplans and have them submit the .skp file as an attachment on google classroom. When I try to open up their models it asks me every time to log into sketchup with my google account and then just loads the sketchup home page, so I then have to navigate through it to find their models to open. This literally started happening right in the middle of class. Also, a similar thing happened a little over a year ago. I’m assuming some update interfered with this ability. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you in advanced.
Do you need to open an editable version of their model? If not, it may be quickest to have them share a URL that you can just click on and it’ll open in a ‘View Only’ mode:
Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes I do need an editable version open. I guess the real issue I’m facing is that I can not open the file from the Drive, I must be in the home screen of the sketchup app and then search for the file. I then can only open 1 file at a time and it takes longer to trach them all down.
Thanks.
