Unable to fill a curved surface

Hello SKP community,

I am new to Sketchup. Using it since 14 days. I am stuck in filling a surface of an easy obejct. Reading through the forum I undestand it has something to do with the points not being coplanar?

This is a bench that will be built in concrete. But I simply do not manage to fill the curved sections.

Any help?

You should really spend some time getting the fundamentals down, it will save time and frustration in the long run.
Start with the Campus.

Thanks for the help. I managed to make it happen :slight_smile:

I did follow the relevant videos on Campus. Problem for me: despite good english it is not always that easy to follow. I use the software in German.

Some parts (despite looking at the follow me video MANY times) where just not possible. The two point arc just did not behave as in your video. But I managed with a normal arc.

Take note of the colour, It changes to magenta(pink) then you double click.
Any other colour will only make an arc and not trim the straight edges.
