As title states. F11 doesn’t enter SU 2025 Pro into Full Screen. Is this a known glitch or am I simply doing something wrong? How do I view the program in Full Screen? I think I saw somewhere about AMS Windows Settings. I’d like to be able to do this simply and not by an extension/plug-in. However, if need be, I will install extras. Sufficient to say, this is a curiously perplexing issue regarding such a fundamental program feature. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.
It never has. Please reassign this topic to the SketchUp Feature Requests category.
Your profile says you are using Windows 8.1 which isn’t supported.
There’s an extension by Anton S available from Sketchucation. He updated it for SketchUp 2023 and 2024. He states there are some limitations in the newer versions of SketchUp but you could try it. Read his comments on the last page of this forum post.

I’ll reassign the topic and update my profile momentarily. Thanks for the heads up! I’ve used SU since at least 2008… and I could swear that a simple F11 worked. I guess it’s all in my mind. Also, thanks for the recommendation for extension by Anton S. Will give that a go. I tried “AMS Windows Settings” along with accompanying library and got no love. Unsupported or outdated. Cheers!
It never did.
Yeah. Old extension that isn’t supported.
Tried it with no love. Attempted classic vs. new graphics engine. Also, tried switching between both of my GPUs with those different settings. The UI pops up a small white square for a second then disappears. Oh well. Been down this rabbit hole way too long.
Anton did say there are limitations.
You could just turn off the toolbars and tray. That would get you pretty close to full screen.
Thanks mate! It just occurred to me that I could always auto hide my taskbar (windows 11). That gives me the view of the SU just like entering Full Screen. (kind of)
