Hi, I’ve been working with a DC cabinet from the extension warehouse. For some reason I am unable to change the attributes for the door component’s thickness, height and width. Is this because of some conflict with the cabinet component which it is ‘nested’ in? I have attached the DC here.

Hi, thanks for responding to this. I’m sorry but I don’t really understand your suggestion. Could you explain in a little more detail? What attribute rules do I need to change to allow me to adjust the thickness of the door?
@RonnieDee I think this is your model. Is this something you could help me with? I have found the model extremely useful to efficiently build a rough outline of a kitchen.

this is the component file, the fix as above makes sure you are not trying to divide with zero
Hi, thanks for taking the time to edit the model but I can’t see how this has solved the problem. The option to change the thickness still cannot be adjusted. It is always at 18mm.
the options for “width”, “thickness” and “height” do not change when clicked. However the options for “Number of Hinges”, “1st Hinge” and “Hinges” can be changed
These are set via formula; the thickness can be exposed as done

Thanks again for your help. I can’t see the ‘Door and Drawer Thickness’ option in my model. For some reason I can’t select the entire component as with the initial model. Now in your edited model I can only pull out Dynamic Component options on the individual nested components. Again thanks for helping me with this
You need to bring the component in through the components browser panel or drag it into the model window. If you just open the component file you loose the top level component wrapper with all the options.
brilliant thank you. I didn’t realise that. I have now managed to change the attributes to allow me to change the thickness.
