I am creating a traditional pavement next to a road down a UK street of residential houses and have been struggling to make it look realistic! Does anyone have one already pre-made and wouldn’t mind sending it over? If not, possibly point me in the direction of where I could maybe download an already pre made model?
Asking someone to do your work is not really on.
The slabs are a simple rectangle push-pulled into shape.
The narrower front pieces likewise.
The kerbs themselves are similar, but might have their top front face sloping back slightly, and a rounded edges, easily done by drawing a tangential arc on the end and push-pulling it off the kerb.
Make the slabs and kerbs components and move+ctrl to array copy them xN times… done
Learn to model tings yourself.
Pavements are everywhere, just go and measure one to get the sizes you need…
PS: please fix your profile details, the graphics card is readily found under SketchUp’s Preferences.
You can check if there are suitable “road” models in 3D Warehouse.
You can search for a suitable “road extension” on the Sketchucation website (free registration needed).
I remember this video about the extension “Urban Paint” (license required!) which offers a lot of possibilities to model your own streets and such:
Otherwise you can model it yourself using groups and components, as @TIG described above.
