I just threw together a tower in Sketchup, and now I want to add some decoration. I’ve got this wedge shape that I want to dot around the underside of the roof, but I don’t know how to accomplish this. I did find this video on the subject, but I can’t get it to work.
I’d use Follow Me. Put the profile into the same context as the rest of the tower.
If you planned ahead, you could add that shape as part of the profile for the tower and create the tower with Follow Me.
I did create the tower with Follow Me, but I didn’t think I could include the decorative shapes since they have gaps between them.
No. I didn’t understand that from your first post. Sorry. That shape could be copied around the tower with the Rotate tool.
I managed to figure it out.
