Trying to create a softball field layout

Hi all,

Very, VERY new to SketchUp so I don’t have much of an idea as to how to use the software…yet.

Would like to know how to draw out a plan for several softball fields, but want to add other things in there like fencing, dugouts, lighting, landscaping, sidewalks and a couple other buildings. Anyone who could point me in the right direction as far as tutorials so I can start to figure this out, I would be beyond appreciative! Thank you!

Start by learning the basics. Go to the Learn page on SketchUp.com and click on the Get Started button.

I appreciate the pointer and I will definitely take advantage of that. But the bigger question is will I be able to do what I want to do with this software?

Sure. Why not? You can see that it’s possible with a simple image search on the Goog. Like this.
