If you want to select a tray in auto-hide mode by moving the cursor to the border of the program/screen, it is impossible and inconvenient.

Make tray in auto-hide mode hover active along the entire width/height of the tray (up to the edge of the program).

So you want it to work like this?

This is in SketchUp 2026.2.
I think you didn’t get it. Try to move the cursor to the edge of the screen/window at the height of the tray. It won’t open.

Why would you expect it to open the tray if the cursor isn’t on the tray tab?
What I meant was to extend the tray tabs to the edges of the program where it would be also active on mouseover.

I would agree. This is probably due to “out-of-the-box” Qt metrics.
