Hi, I was working on a file up until yesterday which was stored on the cloud and it decided to not open up today at all with this error “this does not appear to be SketchUp model”. I am using a 2024 Pro version.
There is nothing but zeroes in either file. Where were you saving the file while working on it?
Your Pro subscription includes unlimited storage on Trimble Connect. Were you also saving the file there as a backup?
Alas, both the skp and skb are completely filled with zeroes. There is nothing to recover. This is a rare, but known issue when saving to the cloud.

As I mentioned, this is a known problem when working directly to the cloud, with no success for the devs in finding the cause. To avoid this you should always save directly to your internal hard drive and keep backups on Trimble Connect.
