There seems to be something faulty with the basic shadows in sketchup 2025

In advance, my apologies for my rude words. but this is getting really frustrating…

We use sketchup to analyse possible “planning damage” caused by shadows and thusfar never had a problem up to sketchup 22.

Butt what is happening with this once so great program!?!?

Yet again i find some issues in the latest version of sketchup!
Somehow the shadows move while orbiting, never happend before!
somehow shadows display holes that are not there!
somehow shadows do not match with previous version of sketchup!

As shown below, left SUP22 and to the right SUP2025.
Same file, same date, same time, same everything, except for the casted shadows which deviate in the lower right corner. Aperantly the shadow is not casted on that building, and do not contain holes or missing parts of shadow, according to sketchup 22 which i somehow trust more then newer versions.

So yet and once again again, please fix this issue asap please.
Untill then, and again as usual, i have to stop using sketchup 2025 and return to the more stable and trustworty sketchup 22. (oh how fund i am with the updates since 2022…NOT!)

And no, i am sorry i can not share the full file due to its confidentiality.

Do you have an environment turned on?

I do not need fancy images, just accurate images

So no, i do not use enviroments, ambient occlusions or external renderings.
Just plain old skool basic sketchup with basic sketchup shadows and basic sketchup rendering

I could send the template i use for my sunshadestudies, but i do not think that one has this problem (yet).
