I am working on a timber frame drawing and I have the TF Rubies extension for creating purlins. After I make the purlin a component and paste it in place, I make it into a joint. This usually automatically creates a mortise in the component that it connects to, but I have a few components where the mortise doesn’t show up in my shop drawings. I have tried erasing and redrawing the purlin, making sure I didn’t miss any steps in creating the joint, but it still won’t show up in my shop drawings.
