Good day. Problems with subtracting a log from a roof. I think the problem is with the roof. It cannot be selected for subtraction. Can you help me with advice, what can be done with the roof and how to do the subtraction?

I corrected the version in the profile (I use it at work). I’ll try your advice and use Trim.
Still can’t select the object - the roof.
When selecting Trim or Subtract, a warning appears - “One or more of the selected objects is either not a solid or is locked. The non-solid/locked objects will be de-selected before this operation is performed.”
So the roof needs to be made solid?
The three roofs are nested inside a component, which may be confusing you when you try to select them. Also the small front roof has a stray edge in it that is preventing it from being a solid.
Three of your groups and a loose edge are located about 1872m out the red axis from the main part of the roof. That makes them seem to be impossible to select until you know where to look.
In the attached I fixed the stray edge and moved the other groups to the origin. See if this works better for you.
