SU2026 constantly crashing. Trimble has been no help

SU 2026 Pro. 2026 MacBook Air with 32gb of ram. 400 gb of free storage. No issues with any other software. saving locally to the hard drive, no cloud storage. I do use 2 monitors, as I need reading glasses and the image is too small on my laptop. most files are under 10mb, all are under 20mb. I use about 10 tags in the model, and then about 5 scenes for exporting to LO.

crashes about 10 times a day. usually happens when I click back into SU after using another program like safari or email or notes or layout (programs fully open, not minimized in dock), or when I have two SU files open, working in one, and I click into the other file.

ive done at least 10 support tickets with Trimble and it hasn’t been resolved whatsoever.

Thanks for all of the bugsplats you’ve sent in. All of them are crashes in the Space Mouse code. You seem to be using the latest version of their drivers, so it should include any recent fixes.

Is there a model and particular action you can do that always makes the crash happen?

the crash isn’t specific to one model or file. it’s every file. I can’t make it happen on purpose, but it most often happens when I have a file open and then click into a different file. or if I have one file open and then try to open a second one. sometimes it happens when I have no files open and then try to open one. I don’t have any problems with this mouse in rhino or any other program.
