SU2024 - Crashing on starting & the Installer also fails on "Repair" mission

Hi all, I just started to have an issue where SU2024 tries to start, but crashes before loading a model or a template…
I tried to launch the installer (yes, right-click, as Admin) to repair the install but get this:

SU2024-install repair pb
SU2024-install repair pb2077×874 99.3 KB

& obviously the “sketchup2024.msi” file is present on none of my drives…
So, i’m stuffed it would appear.
Anyone got any ideas please ?

You can try with an offline installer (yes, right-click, Run as administrator)

However, meantime I did this…

I renamed the preferences file & SU2024 started ok (albeit that now I have to put all my toolbars & stuff back where they should be) !
I wonder why it messed up ? HéHo 2024 woes
