Hi everyone, I wanted to share a project that my Drafting Design students have been working on this year relating to the housing crisis and homelessness, which was recently featured in our local paper.
We use SketchUp for all our design work in this class, and I am so proud of my students’ empathy and hard work as they learned more about homelessness and created their supportive housing units.

Absolutely, I will be having a look at their finished projects after our winter break and will share some of their work here. 
I could also share my unit plan here for those who might be interested in teaching a similar theme. It will just need to be translated into English since we are a French Immersion school.
Great idea, I have seen questions here before, asking for teaching ideas. Although it has been some time ago.
I’m sure this could be a wonderful project for students of all ages!
