I have not used sketchup for a while now, but today I was going to continue a drawing for my hobby wood shop. And I have observed that in the Components Window, now there is an extra box below the normal, I think there are favorites shown here. How do I get this box closed?
That’s the secondary pane. If you don’t want to see it, click on - with the upward pointing arrow below the X in the upper right corner.
Having the secondary pane open is useful when you want to save components. Set one of the panes to In Model by clicking on the house icon and the other to the desired destination collection. Then drag the thumbnails from In Model to the other pane.
