What do you mean, you don’t have to type any dimensions when you use the stamp tool, just click wherever you want to place a the copy of the object.
So, you need to set the offset before even clicking on the object you want to stamp. don’t click on it, just type a new value. is it still blocked ?
as far as I remember, if you click on the object, then yeah, you can’t edit the offset.
I am very grateful to Francisco and Stone in French/Ateliernab for the instructions they sent, which resolved the problem.
