Socket cut-out

Is there a way that I can place elctrical sockets (like the below) on the wall, and a cut-out is created? I have tried to use ‘cut opening’ but haven’t suceeded.

I am making some components from switches and outlets (sockets). The component from the single outlet works fine and cuts the opening in the wall. I made a opening cutting component from the double outlet. When I insert this component on the wall it doesn’t cut the opening. What is the difference between de single outlet and this double one?
